Materials:
Paint roller
Roll of masking tape or painters tape
Steps:
Remove the paint roller from the handle and lay it flat on a clean, flat surface.
Place the sticky side of the tape onto the surface of the paint roller, making sure to press it down firmly. The adhesive on the tape will pick up any loose lint and debris on the roller.
Lift the tape off the paint roller, starting from one end and pulling it off in a smooth and even motion. You may need to use more than one strip of tape, depending on how much lint is on the roller.
Continue wrapping the paint roller with tape and removing the lint until it is completely clean.
Once you have removed all the lint, you can use a damp cloth or paper towel to wipe down the roller and remove any remaining debris.
Reattach the paint roller to the handle and continue with your painting project.
Wrapping a paint roller with tape is a quick and easy way to remove lint and debris, allowing you to achieve a professional-looking finish on your painting project.
